Dehydrating is the oldest method of food preservation and it’s a great way to store foods for later use.

You can easily make dried fruits, vegetables, herbs and teas at home for a fraction of the store-bought price.

In this workshop you’ll learn how to turn excess (or cheap in-season) produce into nutritious snacks and personal gifts.

You’ll be shown the tools you need and how to slice and prepare selected fruits and vegetables for drying. You’ll also learn how to make vegetable powders and how to store your delicious treats.
